Cricket legend Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar became first Indian to get place in the cover of the 151th edition of Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack 2014 who retire from International cricket last year. 151th edition of Wisden Cricketers' Almanack published in UK( London) on 10 April, 2014.
Wisden Cricketers' Almanack is the most famous cricket related book in world which published annually in the UK. It is considered the world's most famous sports reference book. It is known as ‘Bible of cricket’ which was first public in 1864 by the English cricketer John Wisden.
Lawrence Booth editor of Wisden Cricketers' Almanack said that Sachin Tendulkar picks himself for this. His status and love for the game are beyond question. Wisden is happy to add its own tribute to an superb career in this year’s Almanack.”
The Wisden told that Sachin played 200 test matches in front of the most cricket fans in the whole world in his 24 years career.
