Sachin Tendulkar honoured to Bharat Ratna 4 feb-2014

Cricket  legend Sachin Tendulkar &  scientist Prof. C.N.R. Rao were awarded Bharat Ratan,India’s  highest civilian honour by President  Pranab Mukherjee at a function.Sachin is the first sportsman to receive this award. He is also youngest among all 41 legend who part of this honour.

Sachin told media  thatIt's the biggest honour for him and  he is extremely delighted on receiving Bharat Ratna. He want to dedicate this recognition, this award to his mother and to mothers all other the India who sacrificed their wishes and aspiration for their children so that the children's dream can come true.
               
              He also added that  he is extremely proud to be born in this beautiful country and  would like to express my gratitude for all the love, affection and support that I have received for number of years.
